About the Foundation
The MESWETE NKABYO Foundation is a family-founded humanitarian organization based in Cameroon, working to extend love, education, and opportunity to those who need it most children, prisoners, and vulnerable communities across the country and beyond.
We are not a large institution. We are a family carrying forward a way of living we were raised in — one where the door was always open, the table always had room, and no one was too small or too far to matter.

The Foundation carries the names of three people whose lives shaped ours and shaped countless others who passed through our home. This work exists because they lived the way they did.
NKABYO Paul Wete
Father. Teacher. Protector.
Paul believed that no child should be turned away from an education, and no stranger should be turned away from a meal. He gave what he had, and often what he didn’t, so that others could rise. His quiet dignity taught us that generosity is not a grand gesture, it is a daily choice. This Foundation is his classroom, extended.
NKABYO Stephen Ekwoge
Brother. Friend. Bridge-builder.
Stephen carried our parents’ spirit into his own generation. He connected people across differences, walked with those the world overlooked, and showed us what it means to lead with kindness. His memory is the reason we chose to build something lasting, rather than mourn quietly.
NKABYO Joanna Mesame
Mother. Nurturer. Beacon.
Joanna made every person who entered our home feel like they belonged there. She fed neighbors, welcomed the forgotten, and reminded us that love is expressed in the small, unglamorous acts of care. Her warmth is the foundation of everything we do, literally and figuratively.
